Twenty seven child care providers braved the elements to attend the 3^rd Annual Family Child Care Business Empowerment Conference at CCI in March 2010.  This year’s conference theme was, “Managing Successful Child Care Businesses in an Economic Downturn”.  Four seasoned child care providers, each with more than two decades of experience, were panelists sharing their secrets to success.  Participants were given tips on how to contract with parents, setting fees and interviewing.   Each panelist stressed the importance of being consistent and offering quality services.  Providers were introduced to Social Media Networks as a tool for marketing, in addition to receiving the latest information on Tax Credits available to small businesses.
